Mike Morehead retires as head baseball coach

After 22 years, Mike Morehead has decided to retire as the head baseball coach at Big Lake High School. Coach Morehead has been a constant in Big Lake Athletics, while also being a physical education teacher at Big Lake Middle School. Mike has over 200 wins as a head coach along with 3 conference championships.

Fall Sports Update

Last week the Minnesota State High School League held a meeting with activities directors around the state. The plan as of right now is to begin sports on August 17. Mike Baldwin selected as next boys soccer head coach

I am pleased to announce the hiring (pending board approval) of Mike Baldwin as the next Head Boys Soccer Coach at Big Lake High School. Coach Baldwin will bring an extensive background to our boys soccer program. After graduating from Apple Valley High School, Mike went on to play college soccer at UW-Parkside where he
