Big Lake @ Monticello

9/10 Big Lake hosted Princeton and came away with a win 95-90. All 3 of Big Lake’s 200 Medley Relays gave us a head start with points as they took 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Individual wins throughout the meet was Jaden Anderson in the 200 Free, Emilie Vega in the 200 IM and 500 Free, Brittney Krumrei in Diving and Katlyn Emerson in the 100 Back. We had several races Big Lake was just out touched by Princeton and they meet was getting close but they stepped up and came away with the win!

9/15 Big lake also hosted Cambridge-Isanti for the swim and dive meet and ended it with another win 95-91! Big Lake focused on their finishes and was able to out touch Cambridge in several races which was huge and helped with our win! The 200 Medley Relay Jv came in 1st and 2nd and the Varsity out touched Cambridge by .15 seconds and took 1st. Jaden took 1st in the 200 Free with another out touch to Cambridge by .17 and the 500 Free. Our 200 Free Relay took another 1st place with Thompson, Anderson, Vega and Kirchoff. Overall Jv and Varsity had great races with more season bests.

9/17 Big lake headed to Monticello for a meet against last years Section Champ Runner-Ups. Big Lake had great races and dives: Brittney Krumrei took first against their divers and Jaden Anderson in the 100 Fly. We lost 79-99 but continued to gain more personal season bests.

We look forward to meeting Becker (9/22) at their pool and Chisago Lakes (9/24) at theirs!
